looking to buy a 58?
i found a 1958 chevy appache fleetside pickup with a 250 6 cylinder. It runs and drives good and has some rust holes but not as bad as i would think! it has a 4 speed tranny! he wants 2,000 for it! is it a good deal?

Re: looking to buy a 58?
Looks solid, but check for rust in all the usual places and decide how much you want to bite off. If the dash is uncut thats a big plus too. Those Texas trucks don't have as many rust issues at the northern and eastern ones do. And I'm partial to the short fleeties myself...

Re: looking to buy a 58?
Its a good price for a fleetside as long as the bed isn't banged up. Running is another plus. I'd do 2k on it
