What year did the seat come out of and what year is it going into? I can send you pics of how a 72 is set up.

Just trying to clarify...Are you using a 2nd seat out of a burb and putting into the 2nd seat area... OR...putting a 2nd seat into the front of 'yer ride? What kind of truck? blaz, burb, or truck?

In that case I don't think pics of how the second seat is installed in my suburban is going to help much but I'll send them if you still want them. Seat mounting for suburbans changed quite a bit between 67-72 and 99.

I've got one too
..a leather 2nd suburban seat, that is going in my 72. Slick71 posted some pics of his in over on the 4x4 board (the inspiration for me buying mine).
He says it's pretty straightforward, but it does mount up solid (no back and forth movement) but you have nice access to the back and under the seat with the hinged cushions..... I haven't taken the time to mess with mine yet, I've been driving the truck too much..... BTW, the thread is titled "Interior conversion"

I'm not too sure about the burb seat, but I love my seat. I've got a 60/40 with the fold-down console from a '98 extended cab. I did just get finished with modifications however. We basically "chopped" the seat frames and lowered the seat 2". It's actually sitting close to a stock seat height now. I had thought of buying a burb seat, but I wanted to be able to access the back, and adjust the seat forward since my mom is 5 foot nothin. Congrats on your buy, and I wish you the best of luck on the install.

I put this in my truck about 6 years ago. It's the 2nd seat from a 95 Burb. Mines a 4X4 and I've still got the gas tank behind the seat, so like Dutch said, I don't have any forward-backward movement. I had to re-work the tranny hump a little and cut down a middle bracket, then just used spacers to get it level and bolted it in. If you want any more pics, I can get some. The seat is very comfy and it's nice to have that center console. I didn't make new brackets either, just used the existing ones.
