Beaded window seals?? I need em..

Ok I just recieved my second set of beaded window seals and they won't work either. The rubber scrape part to the outside of the window is too short and does not reach to the window allowing water to get in the door. The old ones from 40 years ago were about an inch wide from door to widow. These are about 1/2 inch. No seal. Anyone know where I can get the correct ones?? This set is from Classic parts, I don't remember where the first set came from. I'm getting frustrated here, and the packing slip says 67-72???
Thanks, Mike

Re: Beaded window seals?? I need em..

I recently installed some and ended up trimming some of the material off as the seal overlapped the window too much. I got them from Classic Parts of America a couple of years ago.

Are you sure your window opening in the door is not too wide?

Jim

I went to an upholstery shop and bought 8 foot long pieces. The shop I went to had a bunch of choices. This was for a Belair, but same principle.

The ones with the chrome bead fits nice. The other ones vary. One set will fit nice the next set will not???? Give me a call.
