Blinked my eye and it was gone!...At least that`s what my first though was when I saw "Best Offer".I`m sure they`ll "take their time and let it climb".I`d give my eye teeth, but I already gave them away.

Re: 14,000 original miles!
yeah somethings fishy why would you need "maintence items" such as brakes with 14000 original miles?

Not even so much that. More looking at this (Must sell immediately!) doesn't look as if they are liven in shambles.

I've found lots of stuff lately at great deals "must sell immediately" I'm not rich, but if I can use this downturn to save $$$ I'm gonna go for it. Can you really hi-jack your own thread?

The answer to your first question is NO. If they need the money, buy the stuff. Win,win.

Nope! Look at it as doing them a favor. If they weren't willing to let something go cheap...well...they should have kept it. Remember...You can sleep in your truck....but you can't drive your house! |

Re: 14,000 original miles!
Yeah, I have noticed a lot of these trucks coming out of hiding in the back yard to the front yard; the economy is definetly squeezing them out...
True about maintenence on a 14000 mile truck. Last edited by Kayotic; 02-01-2009 at 11:56 AM. |

even if a tire doesn't go bald in 14,000 miles, it'll be junk in 40 years.

Re: 14,000 original miles!
Batteries, wheel cylinders, master cylinders, starters, all kinds of parts can seize up or age with time.Gaskets dry up,too. It could just nean the battery,oil/air/gas filters, and points/plugs aren`t original.
A building lot has been hard to find in my area. Now,you can take your pick.Ever people with money are trimming fat or needing to reel in some money of their posessions.I doubt they`ll be giving it away unless there`s no interest and they really need the money bad.

Re: 14,000 original miles!
Sorry, but the truck looks redone to me. Why would anybody store a pickup for 40 years. Just doesn't make any sense. Plus, there are no pictures of the engine, interior or underneath. I say buyer beware.

Re: 14,000 original miles!
I've got about 6 more months before I need to consider selling the Silverado. It would kill me to do it, it was the first nice thing I bought myself after putting myself through college. I was in college from 99-04 and I wanted a 99-02 ever since they came out. That was my goal, after I got my first real engineering job, I was buying a 99-02 Z71. I know a lot of y'all don't like newer trucks, but she really means a lot to me. The 67 is non-negotiable, I'll live in it if I have too
Nice truck, I wonder what "best offer" is? Are you going to buy it retodd7711?

Recession = A period of time when people with a little extra money get to buy stuff at half-price from people who don't have any money.
