Underside cab finish?
I hope to get my cab to the media blaster this week. What are you using on the underside? I am thinking about spray on bedliner. Any other ideas?

Re: Underside cab finish?
i used herculiner roll on bedliner and it looks great and did a pretty good job of sound deadening. I did the underside and the cab floor under the carpet.

Re: Underside cab finish?
I used a spray on bed liner on mine as well and it turned out great plus as mentioned above it worked as an excellent sound deadener

Re: Underside cab finish?
Mine was finished and painted on Sweet Pea...Things changed as I seen other Trucks with shinny floors.....So I opt to what Scott did....And just did the Herculiner on the cab floor and underneath the bed.....I have not driven it yet so as to Sound deadening I cannot say......It went on great and seems to be really thick.....I am thinking of doing inside my bed as well.....Sweet Pea will not see any hauling so it should not get beat up to bad....Other than chairs and coolers.......

Re: Underside cab finish?
I undercoated my truck with a spray on rubberized undercoating. It's cheaper than bedliner and never comes off. Mine has been on for years. Bought it at Wal-mart.

Re: Underside cab finish?
I finished mine with a product called U-Pol Gravitex HS Stone Chip Protector. It is available at most paint & body shop suppliers. I sprayed it on the floor and the underside. It's the same product used on rocker panels & lower areas to prevent rock chipping. It's thick, but not as thick as some of the bedliner finishes. It is sold in black, gray or white, and it can be painted over. I also sprayed inside my doors. It takes care of that tinny sound when you shut the door. When the doors close now they have a solid sound.

Re: Underside cab finish?
I'm going to use a roll-on bedliner as well.
If I put Dynamat on the cab floor will the liner go on it easily?
