Hitch with a sport bumper
I know i've seen some info on this a while back, but I am wanting to use a trailer hitch with a sport bumper. I want to use a "roll pan" style hitch so it hides behind the license plate and stays off the ground. I remember seeing someone take a 67-72 hidden hitch and modify it to fit the 73-87 frame, but after using the search button for a while I have not found it.

Re: Hitch with a sport bumper
Yea, click on the picture. It will take to other pictures. The tube was welded into the frame cross support rails. It was welded and braced. The guy who welded has one just like on his 86. He's towed a large trailer and tractor with it. I have yet to try mine. I may try it this week with a cargo carrier. I need to transport a tiller.
