Boot on Brake Power booster

Anyone have a picture on how the boot fits on the power booster? My boot dosn't seem to be long enough to fit all the way down. The metal ring that goes around the boot seems to big also. Any ideas?

Looks like the wrong boot. The one for the booster should have a bunch of holes. At least mine do. I'll look for a pic.

Here's a pic of the boot installed. I think I got them from GMC Paul. Looks like you're also missing the metal plate that hold it in place. It's the silver looking piece.

I took a picture of the old boot before I threw it away, and it looks like the one I got. I just don't have it anymore to compare sizes. I have a big metal washer that goes on the end, but your boot looks much different. Does anyone else have any pics of their setup? Where there different setups from the factory?

I wonder if someone didn't put a different boot on the truck than what was on the stock booster. That boot in your pic looks like the one that goes on the firewall as jablack mentioned.

Here's a couple of pics of the boots from the vendors catalogs for 67-72 trucks. The one on the left is the booster one.
