Re: rear disc calipers?
Its not seville only, its the big cars with 5x5 pattern & have rear discs
I think mine are from a 76 or something, I dont really remember I havent gotten them on yet, but I dont think the stock E-brake cable will work, you need to adapt from the stock one on the truck to the ones on the disc calipers Maybe someone else has more input Here is a thread with the years & models that had 5x5 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=234769 |

Re: rear disc calipers?
Cadillac Seville '77-'79 model years use 5 x 5" rotors ... I am using this model caliper as well. You will need to do some machine work on the axle flanges as this is not a bolt-on mod.
You will also need to make / fab brackets to mount the caliper as the caddy mounts will not work. |

Re: rear disc calipers?
I was going to ask if the astro rotors fit over the hubs. He probably turned them down if you tried them and they didn't fit. I used 88 4x4 front rotors and had to turn the hubs down. Most guys have them done at a machine shop. I had a bare frame, so I used a BIG drill on the yoke nut and a grinder on the hub.
I wonder if the astro and 4x4 rotors are the same. It looks like they have the bigger lug holes like the 4x4, because GM went to a bigger stud and the stud is pressed into them. Jay |

Re: rear disc calipers?
they should work fine... but don't quote me... i tried it with a 16" wheel and it fits fine with room to spare.
