Measurement please.

As always I'm getting ahead of myself. I am thinking about a new project and have an idea. But I need a few measurements.
Can I get the width from inside right rocker box to inside left rocker box.
Width from body lip to lip in the same area (under the doors).

Thanks guys. Sorry, I didn't get the info that anyone had responded. I am thinking of an idea, but it involves a frame replacement and I know the width of the old fram, but not the width between the rocker boxes, etc. Thanks again!

Wouldn't you need/want the inside measurement between the torsion boxes?

That dimension would be even less than the inner rocker #'s would be.

The frame drops inside the inner torsion boxes, not the inside if the inner rockers.

Maybe I'm confused here sorry...

Aren't the rocker boxes and torsion boxes the same thing?

That is what I meant. I thought they were the same thing too.If they are not then I apologize. I need the measurements between the torsion boxes then.

Nope!

Outer rocker is what you see beneath the doors, inner rocker is a flat piece directly below where the weather-stripping goes (what the outer attaches too), torsion box is behind those pieces & contains the torsion rod.

1st pic is the drivers side torsion box, notice the 'box'.
2nd pic is the inner rocker.
3rd pic is the outer rocker.

Ahh it makes sense now. I just ASSumed that the inner rocker was part of the torsion box and that the outer rocker attached to the torsion box. You the man. NOw get me the measurements I need!!!

Can you tell me a little about the "drop from below the tub prior to the boxes that would affect lying on a different frame" Is that the piece that runs parallel to the torsion box in the pic above (the one that looks like it has a series of holes in a line)?

Okay! Awesome I see now! Okay, so in your opinion,
A: Can these areas be modifies to gain the distance from torsion box to torsion box?
B: If not, if the body sat higher to avoid hitting these braces, how much lower would the frame need to be to clear them? It looks minimal, like 1/2" or so. Is that correct?

A: I don't believe it, the torsion rods run to the inside as it attaches in the front of the torsion box.
B: The first drop steps 2-3/4"s from the bottom of the floor & to the bottom of the torsion box, it's 6-1/4"s from the tub floor.

Measuring the frame from directly below the body mount bolts:
Front is 33-1/4"s
Rear is 34"s

Torsion boxes inside/inside.
From front at the narrowest point before it jogs is 43-1/2"s
From the furthest point rearward of the torsion box is 51"s

**Please keep in mind that all these old trucks my not measure up exactly the same.
