what year?? Pulse wipers AND wet arm wipers

1.) what year did the Pulse delay wipers start? I think that was 77?
2.)Also what year did the wet arm wipers start. I need to know for sure. I think it was 84? I'm usually within a year on my guesses,
I don't want to guess because I'm making up parts ads AND recording the info . thanx. crossy

Re: what year?? Pulse wipers AND wet arm wipers

1985 is when they moved the washer nozzles to the arms. Piss poor design as far as I'm concerned.
The delay wiper module was made available on our trucks, blazers and suburbans in 1978.

Re: what year?? Pulse wipers AND wet arm wipers

I think intermittent started in 75, but must have been an expensive option
because it's rare to see one, even late 70s to 83.
That's something yall need to get when you find them at the yard.

Now I have a question, is there still an afermarket int./delay wiper switch/
module still avaliable?

Re: what year?? Pulse wipers AND wet arm wipers

It's 77 for delay wipers and 85 for the wet arm.

Re: what year?? Pulse wipers AND wet arm wipers

Correct! 77 was the first year they "tried" intermittent wipers. Unfortunately the first design failed.
