Need some help guys...
I'm debating whether or not use dropped lower control arms or dropped spindles...problem is, i have 15" rims...so i think dropped spindles are out of the question...has anyone experienced any problems with lowered control arms with 15" wheels? im looking to get about 3" of drop...DJM offers 3" dropped lower control arms on Summit for $452.39...where as 3" dropped spindles are $229.95....
What about 2 or 2.5" dropped spindles? will that clear a 15" wheel? Thanks for any help guys.

Re: Need some help guys...
Well the springs i have in it now are stock height with 1 coil chopped off... i think it lowered it about 2" up front...
I wont mind doing some grinding if thats what it comes down for me to do to make my new wheels fit. what about the steering arm part of the dropped spindle? i heard that it rubs either the brake rotor or the tire...? correct me if i'm wrong. This is how it sits with 235/60/r15s...except now it has 4 new BF Goodrich 255/70/r15s...

Re: Need some help guys...
i have 3" djm drop spindles on my 75. i had to do a little grinding but nothing major. i agree with cochino12 about losing ground clearance with lca's. getting low has its disadvantages, you want to eliminate as many as you can.

Re: Need some help guys...
I've done it both ways and I like the spindle for ground clearanc. However I like the fact that with lca's you can get a little more adjustment on alignment angles. seemed to handle a little better. you will have to grind the control arm from the lower ball joint back about 3 inches or so, but only need to take a half inch of material off(give or take)

Re: Need some help guys...
I have djm 3" coils with hd brakes and I had to grind a little bit on the ears for the calipers but no lower control arm problems but when I had stock steelies on the front the tie rods would rub, when I would turn sharp
