blazer top paint prep
How do you prep your top for paint. I have a black half top that needs to be white. The outside is smooth so that shouldn't be a problem, but the inside has texture. How do you prep the texture without sanding it off?

Before I repainted mine.I washed it with hot soapy water then a wash with a TSP (TriSodium Phoshate) solution.
Get's the surface nice and clean and ready for paint.

SEM makes what they call 'scuff & clean', part # 38338.
Has tiny abrasive beads in the paste, I use it along with a scotch pad & water, works excellent for getting into the pattern of the hard top. |

How can I strip paint off a top without damaging the fiberglass underneath? Will Scuff and Clean do this?
