AirRide questions......
Well I have my plan laid out for my 53 and now I am looking at air ride stuff... Actualy I am looking at Arnott systems... Not rich so i am going to buy it pc. by pc.
What bags to use on the rear with a frame cut out and a big c notch welded in. I am looking at the Airlift Dominator 2600 bags for the rear and the 271VR air springs for the front. I am planning on using 2" drop spindles also on the carmaro front clip.. I want the truck on the boards... Will these do the job? Will I need tubular a arms also?

Re: AirRide questions......
I'm not familiar with those bags in particular, but I have used slam specialties RE7's on my 69 and plan to use them on my upcoming '50 project. I'm going with a mustang II setup up front and a wishbone setup out back.
for the mustang II stuff, i'm planning to get it all from Zig's Street Rods (here) and the wishbone stuff, along with my compressors, valves, tank, etc from ***************** My goal is for a level ride with the running boards no more than 1" off the ground when aired out. |

Re: AirRide questions......
Don't buy the Arnott systems!!! I bought it and put it on my truck only to find out the valves were not strong enough and the air would bleed back. I found out the hard way and wasted my money. When it comes to valves, don't go cheap!

Re: AirRide questions......
my 2 cents...Street Beat Customs sells Asco valves & are a very good quality valve, & rebuildable.. much cheaper than the "AirRide Tech." valves
