How many 100% stock trucks are here?

Lets see pics of only 100% stock trucks I bet there are hardly any...and I bet people post...mines 100% except for the wheels kind of pics...lol...you do realize thats not stock right?

Tires would be the only allowable exception...safety factor. These pics would be good resource material...Thanks

Re: How many 100% stock trucks are here?

okay being a motor head since the age of about 13 or so i personally would consider my truck to be 100% stock...the only things that have been changed(replaced, not added or modified) are the battery, plugs, wires, cap and rotor, water pump, and tires(not the spare though)....

This '70 3/4 ton is original. I'm not sure about the hubcaps because I don't know for sure which ones are right.... The Huntsman camper has been on it since it was new and it has been stored inside most of it's life. It shows 98,000 miles on it. I also have the new takeoff tailgate for it.

Yeah the rally style wheel often gets tossed in as stock. On lurch's late model (well to me its a late model lol) those wheels may be stock to that truck.

LockDoc that camper would look very cool on a 68 K20 anniversary truck.

i can assure you the rallies on my truck are stock because they also used them on the late 70's and early 80's style vans....MOST people when they put rallies on to replace the stock steal rims they put on wider ones with a deeper offset... as i had thought about it several times but desided to go with the chrome deep dish 454SS rims off of a '92 instead

Re: How many 100% stock trucks are here?

Here's my 72 the day I bought it in 2007. Bone stock except for the tires. Still stock except for the carb, intake and shocks. I still have all the original pieces. Carb and intake were swithched because the old carb was leaking in 3 places. It's been rebuilt and will be going back on with the intake.

Here ya go my man! Diamondback makes the dual stripes on modern style tires. You have to call and request priceing, but they can do it pretty much any size tire, even 17's - 20's.

Here's a few I have. The blue one is no longer stock, but the other 2 are (except I pirated the bed off the red one!). The white C-20 is untouched.

Re: How many 100% stock trucks are here?

Heres one of mine, 65K original miles, original paint and interior. It has a 402BB, auto and cold factory air that has never been apart!! It has the original hoses, brakes, and rear shocks. I removed the split rims and bias tires. It did have white hub caps and I replaces them with this set of NOS caps. It drives like brand new!!

Re: How many 100% stock trucks are here?

My truck sucked stock (manual everything and no A/C). I really like and appreciate stock trucks, but the only truck I would want to own that was 100% stock would be a loaded 71/72 Cheyenne.

Keep the pics commin'!

Re: How many 100% stock trucks are here?

Thanks for the info on the tires!! Coker and I had talked but they acted like I was crazy when I asked about the dual stripes- same tires by the way that are in the ad for the cheyenne super issued in early 71 by GM.
