replacing exhaust manifold
I found a set of exhaust manifolds on eBay. They say the quality is good and will be as good as others offered. I was wondering what to look for in buying exhaust manifolds and if anyone has bought from AM-AutoParts before or bought their exhaust manifolds.
The ones I took off today are pretty well shot. Here is what the add said. 1972 72 Chevy/GMC Truck 307 350 Exhaust Manifold Pair Price: $127.95 Shipping: $0.00 Your Total will be: $127.95 Detailed Applications NEW PAIR OF EXHAUST MANIFOLDS FOR YOUR CHEVY OR GMC PICKUP TRUCK! 2" Exhaust Outlet The auction is for a PAIR of Ramhorn Manifolds Brand NEW fitting the following years: |

Re: replacing exhaust manifold
One thing you need to know is there are a few different styles. Some are straight down dump and some are angled back. The stock 2wd trucks had them angled back & 4wd had them straight down. I've also seen something mentioned about a bracket that needs to be ground off on replacement units.
Hope this helps. s/t
