steel floor to wood
If anyone has a bad steel floor and would like to convert to wood I have all the parts.I had a complete wood floor bed that I sold the sides off of and was saving the rest to put a set of short sides with and get new wood kit and stainless strips.$325 for header panel, tubs, all cross supports, lower splash shields.rear wiring harness and brake and back up light sockets. These are nice pieces that I was saving to make me a show bed but the truck I just bought also has a nice woodbed setup so I can let this one go.I will be going to Rose hill VA in a week or so and can deliver anywhere along the way.I can get pics if interested.

Re: steel floor to wood
Where are you at in North Carolina? I am in Raleigh and if you still have the parts I would like to look at them.

Re: steel floor to wood
I have inner tubs, header panel, all cross supports, lower splash shields, rear bed wiring harness and brake and backup light sockets. You would need 2 bedsides, wood, stainless strips and bolts . The parts I have are in good shape with surface rust only. Tubs and header panel are not dented or pitted. I purchased 2 goodmark sides to put with these parts an make a show bed for my 72 bb truck.I have recently purchased another 72 in ca and it has a very nice wood bed so I am selling this to have cash for my trip. |

Re: steel floor to wood
I checked LMC and this parts list is over $500.00 for shortbed and $600.00 for longbed after market. Anybody who has put one of these together knows new after market tubs need more body work than used gm.I can deliver these free of charge to anyone going to the autofair or might be able to relay with someone going to the autofair.
