Saturday pics (2-21) We're still workin
Howdy gang! The weather here has still been less then desirable but we're still workin tryin to get some things ready for the cruise in season. The Worthless Cruisers have got a lot of projects coming together, so keep your eyes open for updates!
Brian is a machine and has been running himself ragged on this one. Better?? Lil helper. I'll have some installation shots of all these parts soon. Random shot of a sign I spotted at an intersection.....I don't know why...I just liked it!!! If you're a CARtoons fan and have ever checked out George Trosley's website you'll understand this sign. It'll be hangin on my wall soon! |

Re: Saturday pics (2-21) We're still workin
My lil brother was kind enough to help me finish up the wiring job on Christy's54. She and I had an errand in Rome so we broke it out for it's longest trip since it's transformation. It wasn't anything major, probably about an hour each way....We still don't have any heat!
See! Christy does pull wheel time in it! |

Well yes she does drive it. Not much for pics though I guess?
It sounds like Brian is at it all the time. Understanding wife I suppose.

She was just waving for the camera...it just didn't work out!
Yes Brian is a workaholic! Somtimes I think the only reason he goes to church on Sundays is so he can sit still with out a wrench, welder or grinder in his hands!! Seriously. He's a good man that always goes the extra mile for his friends and family! I don't know what we would do without him. |

I will do a build thread on it soon! So stay tuned to Asa's sat. pics to get sneak peeks of Super Bryenne (Asa's name for it).And yes I have a great wife ,she's very understading of what I love to do and she has always supported me!!But I don't ever forget about her!!! So here's another peek!! Enjoy And Yes I changed the engine color to BLACK!! |

Re: Saturday pics (2-21) We're still workin
Looking at the photos of the '54 chevy brought back memories. My dad had a '54 Chevy, its been so long, but didn't the '54 have the airplane hood emblem on it? Or was that on the '55 Chevy?
Either way, great photos and cars...... Best of Luck.

That yeller truck is going to be a nice ride when it's done! Keep us updated on it! Was Christy trying to hide her face in that pic, or just talking with her hands while driving like my wife does? LOL ...Joe

Re: Saturday pics (2-21) We're still workin
Thanks guys! I'm not real sure but I assume this car would of had the large "bird/plane" emblem on the hood when it was new. The car should of also had a chrome strip down the side since it's a 210. All those parts were long gone when we got it. Both halves of the hood had already been welded together as well. I gotta make some calls tomorrow and see what I can do about getting some windshield wipers on it...then I can shoot for Heat & A/C! Cruise in season will be here before you know it!!

Is that the truck that Brian bought from David?

Re: Saturday pics (2-21) We're still workin
That truck is a lot of trucks from a lot of different places! The cab is a factory air Cheyenne Super. When I was setting up a photobucket album for Brian I had to name it something...So I called it Super Bryenne.
I can't believe I've had these pics posted over 24 hrs and nobody said anything about the STOMP sign. Either it wasn't as cool as I thought or it was considerably more subtle then I thought it was. That's OK...I sent a copy of that pic to George Trosley. I'm hoping he'll add it to his Trosley inspired gallery. |

Re: Saturday pics (2-21) We're still workin
that lil helper is my oldest of 2 grandsons. believe me he is no stranger to a shop. his dad works in a heavy equipment shop, and caden (my grandson) can tell you more about dozers, wheel loaders, excavators, etc. than most grown men know. he is 2 years old, and loves the grease and dirt.
i am excited about brian getting his yellow truck up and running, i wish he could take it to maggie valley! that 54 is excellent, i am impressed with the modifcations brian and asa did to it.
