New from Oklahoma - 1972 Cheyenne Super LWB
My dad recently gave me his 1972 Chevy Super Cheyenne.
It has been a great truck, but a worker. It has pulled many trailers and hauled lots of hay, wood, feed, junk, etc. He has always taken great care of her mechanically, but she isn't much to look at. It has the original 350 and tranny with 148,000 miles. She is a good running and driving truck, but needs some cosmetic TLC. It won't be a 100% restoration, but I'd like to make her look as close to stock as I can afford. She won't be parked in my garage for the rest of her life. She will still be pulling trailers and hauling stuff when I need a truck. I just want to make her look good. She needs a new bed floor, driver's side bedside, trim, floor pans, rockers, cab corners, driver's side fender, and windshield. She has ice cold factory air and excellent drive train. Do you have any tips, tricks, or advise for me? I'm never gonna sell her, but I'd like an idea of what she may be worth as she is now. Thanks so much! I look forward to hearing your responses!
