How to Remove Tracking Bar Stud
Can anyone tell me if they've had any trouble removing the stock tracking bar stud from the rear diff? It seems that its just seated in the eye and should be able to be pushed out toward the rear, but so far, a solid rebar and 2 lb sledge hasn't budged it. Tricks? Techniques? Am I doing it wrong?

If its that tight mabe it is threaded into the hole. Last one I removed . I loosed the nut tapped it with a brass hammer a time or two . It fell out. Wow do not know about yours . Good luck.

Once you get the nut off, just twist the stub with a pipe wrench. Works every time.
