Hello Everyone, Newbie Here

Hello everyone. My name is John, and I am from Noble, OK. I just joined the board a few days ago, and am finding lots of info, and of course AWESOME pics. I am currently on the search for a 73-87 SWB. I used to have a 84 Chevy SWB when I was in high school, and sold it due to family obligations. Well fast forward a few years later, ok several years later! I currently have a 92 RS Camaro Heritage Edition. So it's up for sale, and the proceeds are going straight to a truck!

So now that I have talked long enough I just wanted to introduce myself, and look forward to having a truck in the near future to share with you guys.

Welcome John from Tx. The square body bug is is a bad bug . I was bit by it in the late 80's when my dad picked up a 77 shorty . Later it was mine . I think I have had at least one Square since that time . I hope you find a nice one . Remember to pay a little more for a nice truck/project to begin with , It will pay off in money and time saved .
Good luck !

Welcome John, get the truck soon...they are only getting more expensive.

Are you looking for a fleetside or stepside? I assume you are after a C10 as well?

I know they are a little more expensive. Not as bad as some of the Camaro's I was into, or the 67-72 trucks.

I'm looking for a C10 fleetside.

Re: Hello Everyone, Newbie Here

Wow I am so psyched from all the great welcomes from you guys. I am a member on a couple other forums, and no out pour of welcome like I have seen here. Thanks!
Yeah until I sell my 92 Camaro I can't get a truck, however that hasn't stopped me from looking. I've found a few good ones, and a lot of rough ones.
fmonroe: That is something I learned from my Camaro venture. Spend more on a good one, and save money over the long run.
PreRunner: I have looked at the thread for the OKC guys a couple of times, but haven't posted in there yet. Was considering maybe making it out to Thunderbird for the meet. I'm just a few miles from there.
Again thanks guys for all the welcomes and help for the trucks. I have looked at the for sale ads on here, but don't want to start getting hopes up until I have the funds. Then LOOK OUT!!!!!

Know what ya mean there John, There's nothing worse than running across the perfect truck without funds in hand.

Good luck with the speedy sale of your Camaro !!!
