Oklahoma And Texas Guys
I was just wondering if any of you guys have ever been to Summers Last Blast in Vernon TX. I grew up there and the town pop is 12000. Well that Weekend the town pop doubles. It is the second weekend in August and I am thinking I am going to take the 67 and I thought this would be a fun place to have a TX Oklahoma board meet. All you other guys if you dont mind the drive it is a pretty awesome deal.I have met people from Cali Tenn and all kinds of other places there. OK I know guys that it is just now March and I am talking about August but like I said the pop doubles so if anyone didnt want to camp out and wanted a shot at A hotel room now is the time for that. I put up a picture from last years cruise that i wasn't at because I had to work. The cruise on sat is closed to any Cars 78 and newer from 7 to 10. I usually cruise the night before though and put the truck up on sat and get the cooler out and watch. Hope some of you guys decide to come down or up for that matter it will be a blast.

Re: Oklahoma And Texas Guys
Thanks for the info.
Sounds like it may be a good one to attend. August always a scorcher here in Texas, so it may be a good idea plan ahead and stay in a hotel. http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=...9,5.300903&z=8 |

Re: Oklahoma And Texas Guys
There are places to camp all over the place. You would just need to show up Thur night as early as possible to get a good spot.

People come from alot further away than you. You should head that way.

Re: Oklahoma And Texas Guys
My truck will be done by then, sounds like fun. Unless I go to Knoxville Ia. on those dates, I may drive down and check it out.
