Anyone in Eugene Oregon?
Just moved there last weekend and wondering if anyone on the board is local? Also planning on getting my 350 rebuilt later on this year and wondering if anyone knows of a good mechanic in the area, body work too.

I'm in Corvallis (neighbor to the north), you won't have any trouble finding someone to work on your rig 'round here.
Welcome!

Re: Anyone in Eugene Oregon?
Welcome! I'm in Salem. My 68 Longhorn is currently at my friend's body shop. He is doing the body work and then he is going to paint my truck.

Re: Anyone in Eugene Oregon?
I have been trying to sell my 08 tacoma so I can use the payment to work on my 72 and make it my daily driver.
Here is my build thread, have not added for a while, just got a new heater control unit and headlight harness so i can drive it in this rain. even though i live in eugene, I and a Beaver at heart. Once you go to school there you always will be a beaver, though I might root for the ducks every so often, but come civil war all bets are off and Beavers all the way. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=259342

Re: Anyone in Eugene Oregon?
As far as recommending a mechanic or body shop, I'd have to ask what kind of money you are looking to spend. Take body & paint, Eugene has everything from Maaco up to first rate full tilt frame off resto shops.
