Monster GArage.....

Did anyone else watch this episode where they make a geo tracker into a hot air ballon???

My point......they had tons of 4wd trucks on there in a fake race...in the mud pit,...there were like 4-6 big arse lifted 73-87's. Very cool!! Dayum they got muddy too!!

the few episodes i've seen were pretty cool, except for they lie majorly aobut the pricing of their parts. like on the impala zamboni they mysteriously got the 20 inch wheels for free while they spent $1000 on a steering box. whoever make up there pricing is retarded

yeah... really... "free rims" are often a characteristic of the cars they build... why even have a "budget"

hehe... sounds like my project!... "budget"... WHAT budget!?!?

Speaking of budget, on that hot-air balloon episode, they went like $35,000 over budget, didn't they? Something like that.

Still a pretty cool show. I think my favorite is still the Explorer/trash truck. It looked totally stock from the outside (well, except for the wheels.) Most of the other projects you could tell right away that something was up.

Jeff which one was that? I have seen a few of them, but not all of them.

Hey if they build their project within budget don't they get free tools or something or am I thinking of a different show?

Im sure the rims and tires and such are donated for free, just so they get more publicity, more people that see them more people are going to buy them, guess its called promoting.Im sure their budget is usually way over i mean $3000 to build some of this and were are the free vehicles coming from.even if the guy is d**ckhead he has the right to be,if i was that talented,id be one to,wait i already am-LOL no matter how fake,or over budget it goes,i look foward to every Monday night to watch it to watch the skills, and i also find humor in it,just wish i was involved.wonder if Mac gives them the same free tools everytime?IMO its the best show on TV except when discovery has shows on snakes and reptiles and strange creatures.

Yea, i love watching sum of the things they come up with on that show. Speaking about tv and cars...don't ever waste your time watching TNN's Thunderdome (i think thats wut its called). Fake as hell. Trucks (if u can call em that) in a stadium going 200 when it looks like they doin 20 mph? Right. Only good part is the girls.

I seen a clip of that show this weekend. They were racing on motorcycles with side carts and the person in the side cart was shooting a paint ball gun at the other team. I though it was cool at first untill we found out they were faking it. One crash was so poor, and the acting he did when he got up was even worse. I dont like that show either!
