Big Block A.I.R. Pump

I need to know if anyone has information or pictures as to how an A.I.R. pump
mounts up in a 72 with factory AC and Power Steering. I have all of the other brackets for the AC and PS, but cant seem to figure out how the A.I.R. pump mounts.
Thanks, Charles, The Restorer

Re: Big Block A.I.R. Pump

I have a few dozen photos I can e-mail in pdf format. All of the photos are of trucks with the smog pump and air-conditioning. If this is the info you need please let me know. Here is a sample.

Thanks alot for posting the pictures. They were great and I found out that I did not have the correct bracket for my engine with the short water pump. The one I have is for a long water pump and mounts low by the lower radiator hose. With your pictures I was able to find the one I need on EBAY and buy it, thanks again.

Re: Big Block A.I.R. Pump

Charles,

I'm glad the photos were helpful. I have photos of individual components if you need them. The manifold tubes proved to be the most difficult parts to locate/find. The passenger side tube connection comes up behind the A/C compressor and is not like any of the reproduced tubes available. Good Luck and please contact me if you would like more information.

Re: Big Block A.I.R. Pump

I received my AIR Pump bracket, but now I find that I don't have the correct AIR Pump outlet. I need the 90 degree one that bolts to the back of the AIR Pump, that the "T" bolts to that the hoses hook onto as you have in your pictures. I hope you understand what I am talking about. Do you happen to have what I need or know where I can find one?
Thanks, Charles
