Whats the difference between 71 and 72 cheyenne super glovebox door emblems? Is it the 72 have a scroll like design around the word super? Mine that I have just got doesn't have a design around the word super. If that is the difference anyone have a 72 emblem to trade for a 71.

You are correct that the ' 72 Cheyenne Super emblem has the scroll work surrounding the word Super while the ' 71 Super emblem does not. I don't have a ' 72 Cheyenne Super, my truck is a Custom/10 but I do have a nice ' 72 Cheyenne Super emblem with studs intact if interested. Give me a PM with your zip code if interested and perhaps we can work a deal.

I have a 71 Super and it has the scroll around the around the word SUPER it was put there by the factory. I talked to GMCPAUL and he said that it is not that uncommon for trucks built late in the production year to have the a few parts mixed in to complete production of those last few trucks before they start rolling out the next years models . IF that is GMCPAUL says you can take it to the bank the man knows his sh*t.
