hey guys, i need help. i bagged my 86 c10, used strong arm upper and lower control arms. everything fits real nice, but im worried about the brake hoses.what are you guys using for the hoses from the frame to the caliper?

I was using the stock ones, just unbolted from the control arm...stretched pretty tight when its laid out....i know i know...im subscribed to see what responses you get.....good luck...

oh...and pics would be cool!!!

okay that is what i did. i had to run them through the upper arm, and gently bend them where they mount to the caliper to clear the crossmember when aired up.hope it works.

I took mine to a local hose and fitting place that makes brake lines and had some made that were longer.

sounds expensive.. just go to NAPA and bring them your old hose or look up the fittings size/threads and they will look in the book to find a longer hose that is cheap, in stock, and fits perfect.. there are tons out there.. I know a lot of the old cars had long brake lines, eg: early nova's and pontiacs. NAPA's book even has photos in it and all dimensions.
Thats what I did.

just an idea....could you use lines from a 4x4? shouldnt they be longer?
