Re: 63 shifter linkage bushings...HELP THE NEW GUY!
Someone will chime in with sizes, but I think you can just take one of you rrods to a hardware store and find some brash bushings that fit over the rod and still fit inside the hole on the transmission ear. They probably can also be found in the HELP brand product section at your local parts dealer.
I am not positive, but I think Jim Carter Trucks carries the stock ones. Might be hard to find in the catalog, but you could call them. Last edited by ol Curt; 03-15-2009 at 08:50 AM. |

Re: 63 shifter linkage bushings...HELP THE NEW GUY!
Greetings Ruthless and welcome. I had a time finding those bushings for my 1963 as well. Dixie Truck Works in Mt. Pleasant, NC has what you need for about $4! They are located at 10495 Hwy. 73 East in Mt. Pleasant, NC. 28124-7724 (704) 436-2407. The guy runs his business from a bldg. behind his house and he is the go to source for vintage Chevy trucks in my area. He usually carries everything and more that LMC has to offer and being that I can drive there,I dont have to pay shipping. Good luck.
