Drivers door raddles around when half way
I just got my 71 C10 last week and I was hoping that you guys could help me with the problem that I am having. My drivers window is very loose and raddles around when it is not rolled up. It moves side to side (from inside to outside the truck) and bounces up and down when I am rolling up the window. Also where would be a good place to order the parts to fix this?
Thank you all for your help!

Re: Drivers door raddles around when half way
I bought a window seal kit from LMC to fix mine, it was doing more or less the same thing. It really tightened it up quite a bit! Only problem is now when I roll it down, it is so tight that sometimes I have to wait a split second for the window to catch up
The seal contained a rubber strip for the side that goes all the way up the side and on top, and also had the straight strip that goes in where the vent window is. Also, check with the board vendors to see if they have a kit for sale, you can easily send any of them a PM (vendors are at the bottom of the page): http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showgroups.php EDIT: These are actually called Window Channel kits if you end up searching for them somewhere. Brothers, one of the board vendors, has this kit (which may be more than you actually need...still, everything would be new ) : http://www.brotherstrucks.com/prodin...number=WCS0072 Last edited by maddog1331; 03-16-2009 at 03:57 PM. |

Pretty Cool, that sure looks like it will do the trick! It would of taken me forever to find it. Thank you big time and there is a good chance you saved my door glass too!
