New photos of the truck
My son and I were bored last Sunday so we went out for a drive and took some snap shots of the truck, I've been wanting to take some new shots. I don't know if anyone remembers that I had my tires "cut" to make white walls, but I didn't have any new shots with the "cut" tires.....
So here ya' go....

The funny thing is, I had them in the tail lights too...BUT.... I was backing into the garage and went a little to far and nudged the cabinete and the tail light shattered....lol! So when I bought new lens' I got the blue dots instead, ( I seem to get a little close when I park it)

So,that guy can cut whitewalls from any tire that had RWL,right?I knew a guy in the late`70s that got a machine and started a custom tire lettering business. He could put any letters to say anything you wanted and dye them, too.Back then all tires had the white plies for whitewall or raised white letters.I figure most tires don`t have the white ply anymore since both RWL and whitewalls have become history.I want some wide tires with a narrow whitewall and would like to not have to spend $800 for a custom made set.

Re: New photos of the truck
Nice truck! I've always loved your truck, mostly because of the spikes in the grille, the hood hinges, and the "real" and pinstriped flames.

Re: New photos of the truck
It's about time we start seeing your truck again! Looking nice, especially without the bling. I just got done reading your write up about the tire cutting, too. Man I wish there was someone here to do that to mine.

Re: New photos of the truck
AWESOME! I look forward to seeing it in person some day! I really like the Vintage plate, as the red accents your truck.
Did you have the chrome trim on the outer grill before? I wonder if it to would accent your bumper, spikes and the wheels? Just a thought - either way I really like that thing.
