Switching from standard to auto-2 questions
Can I lose the Z-bar bracket on the frame? I would rather have it gone if it's not needed.
And this is probably a dumb question-I know I have to use an auto crossmember, but does the one for the standard tranny go away?

Quote:
We just did my truck about six months ago from 3spd manual to auto.. You can cut everything from the clutch linkage, get an auto crossmember from any of the aftermarket companies bolt it in, get a new mount. Get the shifter assy wether you are getting a floor shifter or going with an auto shift column then get the one from lockart.
