thanks, its a little more along now. almost driveable. it sits with a 3/5 now. i need a seat and a couple small things and it will be road worthy!!!! but who needs a seat?

What I want to know is how for ahead of time did it take to grow those 2 stumps at just the right distance apart to mount the cab

it does look like trees use to stand there. as for the hillbilly stands, i do what i can with chainsaw in my parents orchard

OhioDan, I've used one of those seats before. It wasn't tall enough so I had to move up to a "bucket" seat..
