K5 Blazer emblem location

I've searched past threads for this info and I have the assembly book but it tells you the distance between the holes not where on the fender to put the holes can someone help with this info? Like inches from top or bottom of fender and to the door edge side of fender.

Thanks, in advance

Re: K5 Blazer emblem location

I've searched for this info, but have never found it. I figured when it can time for me to actually install my emblems that I would just measure another blazer.

Re: K5 Blazer emblem location

do you have your fenders off. or inner fender? I heard one side is almost impossible to do with the inner fender mounted.

One side is almost impossible with the fender on. You'll need to remove the inner fenders for both sides unless you have really small hands and long skinny arms.

Sorry, don't have the measurements. My emblems are on so I can't tell where the holes are.

That why I need the measurements, BEFORE reassembly truck is being painted on Saturday.

you could measure to the top of the emblem from the top of the fender. from the edge of the fender to the edge of the emblem.

That might help him get really close.

Re: K5 Blazer emblem location

Not sure if pick up fenders and blazer/jimmy fenders are the same when it comes to mounting emblems, but if the distance between your mounting pins on your emblem is 6 3/4" I can help you with a pic. and measurements...

I can start with that at least that should give me the correct hight of where it goes.
Thanks

Re: K5 Blazer emblem location

I know it doesn't fully answer you question, but here's what the factory assembly manual has to say. Sorry, I don't have access to a scanner so I took some pics with my digicam.
