Little help

I drove to town yesterday and I noticed antifreeze leaking.

Changed out radiator cap and thermostat. drove around the backroads today and same thing....

The top hose and top of radiator super hot....
bottom hose and radiator just a little warm....

What should I do now...

Don't forget riding in the back of a pickup! That used to be a treat for us...now it's child endangerment...

Yep, no seat belts, solid steel razor sharp dashboards, indestructible ladder frame construction that transfers 100% of the impact energy directly to the occupants, ah the good old days.

....just think 4D....this all started with a radiator leak.

Re: Little help

Just an FYI, the top hose is the hot water coming from the engine, the bottom hose is the cooler water going back to the engine.

Re: Little help

Just another quick note. It's good to leave these old radiators just a little 'underfull'. I fill mine to just about an inch or more below the cap. Help stop leaks caused by pressure... still cools fine... Learned that from my buddy's Dad.
