Stuck Pics!

We had a pretty good blizzard here on Friday. Don't know how much snow because the wind blew about 40mph. I had to get out on Saturday and feed hay to the cows. I fed about 9000 lbs and was in a hurry to get it done, so I took a few chances on some deep drifts! I had my nephew follow in the yellow 71.
I got stuck 5 times, pulled the neighbor out twice, and pulled the county maintainer out once with the tractor. I only took a few pics.
We broke my 60,000 lbs pull strap twice!

Fri. Evening

Extremely stuck--10-15 yanks and broke the strap twice!

We did get to 60 today and that melted a lot of snow! Now I get to fight the mud for a few days.

Besides, that is my job! Take care of the cattle first!

Re: Stuck Pics!

Almost out here, but the snow was up to my rocker panels. I had my 35" street tires on for this run, didn't have my boggers mounted up on wheels that fit my 80 yet. Locked front and rear (powertrax up front, detroit out back) and wasn't going anywhere

And yes, I was recovered by a Jeep -- all of my wheelin' buddies run jeeps, and in the past we've had to hook two or three of them up to get me out in my fullsize trucks

Re: Stuck Pics!

The 4x4 system and lockers are air actuated on the mog. I had some major leaks in the axle seals ( no 4x4 or lockers ), so I took it to get worked on a couple of months ago. I wish I would have had it for this storm! I probably would have stuck it too!

Re: Stuck Pics!

How did you get stuck in that little dusting?Bald tires? That snow looks tight & heavy. If it was powder you`d have been in warming up in no time.
I love snow. You just can`t let it whoop ya!
