72 blazer headers
I have a 72 k5 blazer with SBC, sm465, np205. I am having trouble with the Hedman headers that are on it. I hate the way they interfere with the clutch rod.I was wondering If any of you fine folks have had better luck with a different header. I am running the 2.5 inch exhaust to 40 series Flowmasters with turn downs. I do wheel this rig so ground clearance. I do have a welder and a apt. at fab work.

Re: 72 blazer headers
I use to run the same setup.
Here you can seet he hedmen Elites and my clutch mounting point on the frame. Look close at that mount and you will see I moved the mount hole towards the firewall. Simply drilled a hole in the bracket. The Z-bar will still work fine even if it is at a slight angle to clear the heder tube.
