Picking up a 69 Chevy C10 this weekend
Its actually been mine for a little while. Just havent paid for it or picked it up yet lol.
When I stripped down my panel (69) I accidentally tossed some of the suspension I still needed, so now Ill have that. And since I was going to put a Caddy 500 in there I tossed other things Ill be needing now that Im just tossing in a 350. Couple of interesting things about it...Its a leaf spring rear and the box is pretty decent. Ive been wanting a trailer using a truck box, but I really wanted leafs so now I have one. Its a 3 on the tree truck with factory over drive. He said he doesn't think the over drive works, but its all there...cables, knobs etc. I might just hang on to this one. Its a running driving truck, but has some engine problems (307). Ill be chopping it up anyway. Cab is shot, fenders are shot, grill is shot, doors are shot..lol. Ill post pics when I bring her home.

Re: Picking up a 69 Chevy C10 this weekend
I was under the impression that only 67 trucks had the available OD (out of the 67-72 series, it was available for the earlier trucks too.)

I only took a quick look at it. Ill take pics and let you know for sure. It certainly looked factory. I didnt even look at the spid. At first it was only the box and rear frame that I was interested in.

Re: Picking up a 69 Chevy C10 this weekend
Those overdrive were available thru 1969 on trucks.
CG, How do you find these things? I have seen only one of these trucks with the overdrive from the factory.
