clockwise or counter clockwise
If I am laying under my truck looking straight at the TH400 Auto shift linkage...when rotated fully COUNTER clockwise is it in park or 1st?

honestly, i can NEVER rembmember... try to turn the drive shaft. If it clicks into a locking position, then it's park, if it spins and spins, it's first.

you should be able to tell the difference between 1st and park. the difference between reverse and park is alot longer then the difference between second and first.

I got my Trans out of the truck at the moment and I have been wishing I had taken note of what was park and 1st before hand...this helps a lot.

i know you're messin... but some details I just can't remember.
What direction does the rotor turn in the dist? I have absolutly no clue, that's why I used a sharpie and drew an arrow on my rotor. Shifter direction... no clue on the brake lights, one has a green wire, one has a yellow... I couldn't tell you so save my live which is which. details escape me. |
