ramhorn manifolds on our trucks?

anyone running a set of ramhorn manifolds on our trucks? curious if they fit ok or not...kind of exploring all options, and thinking about trying a set since there's a few members that have them for sale on the 67-72 side

Yeah but he is talking about 67-72 style Ramhorns. The ones I have are 63-64 FI Corvette specific.

Sorry, but I'm on the road posting from my laptop, so I can't pull pics up.

Re: ramhorn manifolds on our trucks?

63-64 FI 327 were 2.5". Considered to be the best flowing SBC cast manifolds of their time.

I'll have to look in my files to find out where we bought these from. I looked at a gazillion places, and can't recall exactly where they came from.

If you think they look good raw, wait till you see them coated...

Re: ramhorn manifolds on our trucks?

I had them on before the headers, but I think the factory iron a/c bracket wouldn't work with them.

Yep you are right, I had to make up spacers to fit the compressor brackets.
