Junkyardin' with pics

Hit a new yard today. Some pretty neat things still there. I found out they just crushed a 70 3/4 ton 4x4 CREW CAB (Railroad). I wish i could have seen that one. I did get some good parts today for a fair price however. Enjoy the pics.

Batch number 2
I know there are some "off" brands pictured, but it is nice to see not everything got crushed last year!

Re: Junkyardin' with pics

And the last pics. Check out the spid if it is legible. Unusual to have that many options without being a CST or deluxe i thought.
And a few pics of todays haul. Beats the heck out of workin'
Enjoy...

Unless I miss my guess (the gray hair is draining my memory a lot, lately) that is a '36 or 37 Chevy Master coupe. Definitely not a Ford.

Eightbanger,
Tell you what, you get over here and i will show you the ropes!

Special k, there are some unusual vehicles there. There were more i didn't get pics of either. Looking at that 69 being all black with the red interior, big block, A/C, all the trim... That was one nice looking truck in its day!!!

Blutrukker, the trim was maybe driver condition. I think there was some missing on the other side. Since it was a custom, it was black on the lower. Prices were fair.

I was just about to ask if the wrecker had a speed warning setup.... then you hit me with a pic of the one you got! you dog you!!! if by chance your selling, aw nothing. I can't afford it!

very cool stuff there. looks like the light blue 65-66 has some nice bumper guards. you might pic those up the next time your there. pretty sure you could sell those for a profit!

the air gauge is also somethng that you could probably turn a coin on too......

This nice weather here gets me in the mood to wander around a yard like this. too much stuff, the orange 67 is still sitting in the weeds about 1 mile past Mcgregor I think you should give it a home.

The wrecker had nothing. The speedwarning came from the black 1/2 ton longbox. I have never seen a speedwarning in anything heavier than a 3/4 ton. I know people say the big trucks had them, but i have never seen it.

I am not sure what the old coupes were, but there were a few.

72 super, it takes alot of walking and driving to have 1 good day. I should post pics of how many times i don't find anything. HaHa

Ram-man. I know, I know. I have to get that direction soon. Dang working for a living is getting in the way...

I think he already did.

You had me at the wrecker, then it just got better.Where`s the junkyard pictures?I don`t see any junk!

There`s a push me pull you just like that up in PA that I really wanted to get.It looked retired and was sitting at a house mover`s lot.I`m guessing they were possibly make for aircraft towing. There`s three window in the firewall area on the back(?) side. But,they are very heavy built.Definately some sort if prime mover...Cool Stuff!!

Was that a retracyable hardtop next to the Ranchero? Both are primo projects for an off brander.
