I did an axle flip on my c20 longhorn, & tossed the flat helper+ 2 bottom leafs......that was about 6" of drop. I then moved the spring hanger brackets down 1 1/4" on the frameto raise her back up a bit(Ill say loosely a 5" drop). You will find that removing leafs will cause a little wrapup, & you need slapper bars. Hope that helps......Crazy AL

Western Chassis sells drop shackles I am not sure if they make one for a C20 though. I droped the rear of my C1O leafspring
by having the springs Dearced roughly 2.5/3" by a local spring shop and the 2" drop shackle .

I had to read the post twice too. There isnt a down side to Dearcing the springs is there ? Someone said that the wheel will move forwards or backwards in the wheel well opening when you have springs dearced .
TIM How did you drop the rear of your truck ?
