Is there a difference between a short bed and long bed trailing arm

Are the lengths defferent between a long bed and short bed trailing arm? I have a 63 carry all and a frame from a short bed that I'm going to be making my air brackets off of. It has a monster notch, I'm going to crossmember drop and get all the bugs worked out so when I put it in my burban it works right.

I lived in San Ramon, but now in brentwood. I'm always in Dublin at my freinds houses. Ever seen a red fleetside on bags rolling around there?

I don't think there is any difference. I think the longbed arms are mounted further back on the frame. I have one of each (longbed and shortbed with coils). I could check for you in the morning.
