16" 6lug hubcap wheels do they exist?

Trying to find out if these wheels ever existed in stock form. I've heard that they were available in a 16x7, 0 offset 6 lug pattern for 68-72 3/4 ton and 4x4's I cannot however confirm this to be true. Any help here would be appreciated. Pics are always good too so I know what I'm looking for when I see them.

they did in fact have 6 lug 16 inch wheels, but not on a 3/4 ton. 3/4 ton trucks were all 8 lug untill about 15 years ago or so.
But yes, there was a 16 inch option on 1/2 ton truck 67 - 72. Was VERY uncommon. I've only seen them once in person.

looking at this thread again, I doubt they ever had hub caps. I suspect this was a 4X4 piece only, and unless optioned, i don't think 4X4s even came with hub caps.

Re: 16" 6lug hubcap wheels do they exist?

This is the optional 16" wheel for 1/2 tons from 63-70. Most buyers never opted for this wheel, but many public works and goverments buyers did for higher ground clearance.I believe this type was 5" wide, later model wheels were wider. The rarest optional wheel would be the 17.5" 6 lug from 67-68.

That`s right, pretty rare option.A rancher ordered the truck I showed. That wheel would be 67/68ish and up.The wheel I showed with clips would be the earlier one. Some 67/68s had clips/some had nubs.

The wheel in photo ( pre 64 ) is known as a "roller", something that fits and holds air.

Referring to the wheel on the truck of course. What I like best about original paint trucks is that, what you see, is what you get. Its harder to tell the history of the repainted tailgate, maybe bondo job under there?
