Re: is this worth the money?
Looks like a nice truck - appears to have power brakes - 3/4 ton rear end might be 4.10's - for a daily driver that is too much, especially with a th350. You need to go look at it first, but if that's what you're looking for, judging from the picture, I would take the time to check it out. It's a nice drive up that way anyways.

Re: is this worth the money?
That looks like a good deal to me. Could the 3/4 ton rear end be factory (if so the transmission would match it, if all original, i would think).
Regardless, I would buy it if I were looking for another |

Re: is this worth the money?
guy probably has no clue what he's talking about. He sees 6 lugs and automaticly assumes 3/4 ton. Combine that with a low rear gear, and he *knows* it is what he says.
The front and rear wheels match, I'd bet a kick in the pants it is either a 6 lug, or an 8 lug truck. Quote:

Ah ok, just curious. My dad has a 75 that is a 3/4 ton with a 1 ton transmission and rear end, I thought the same might be possible with an older 1/2 ton.

Re: is this worth the money?
i don't know the 73 - 87 square body trucks very well... actually, i know very little about them. however, i am almost certian, that both 3/4 ton and one tons both had the 14 bolt. And as far as the tranny goes, I'm fairly certian that the trannys were the same 3/4 ton to one ton on them too.
