NEW DASH!!! Check it out.

To all of you who may have been waiting. I finally got the new dash for my '69. Ball-milled aluminum. Its very well done and the guy loves what he does. He even has an exact duplicate of mine sitting at the shop. Just so happened that he messed up and cut the speedo and tach holes too big, 3 3/4" diameter. If anyone is interested in it, drop him a note. His website is http://www.rodstuff.com The gauges are VDO Millenium gauges. The dash is set up to take just about any gauge set out there.

here's a close-up of the bowtie in the center. Note the turn and high-beam indicators. They are actually LEDs mounted in the dashplate.

Mine was an experimental/trial job. He's gonna start selling them through a catalog for about $200. Drop him a note if you're interested. It might take him a while to get anything done though. he's in the process of moving.

I'll try and grab a pic of the backside with my dad's digicam tomorrow. The gauges are VDO Millenium gauges. for the time being though, I gotta find a cheap fuel level gauge. One to work with the GM sender until I get the money to replace the gas tank with a relocated fuel cell.

Here's some more pics of the backside. I bought the gauges as a set, so it came with a really nice wiring harness.

Any idea if the guy is planning on doing some one-off stuff? I've got a bezel idea I'd like to see milled out.

I'm sure your 5" tach and speedo will be no problem for him. All he's gotta do is set the holes to 5" instead of 3 3/8" Its all pretty much computer run equipment.

I was gonna keel over if that price did include them, I just knew that couldn't be right. Sure is a great looking setup!
