71 4x4 swb frame?
Will any other frames work my friend has one but it was a long bed cut down and the job was done poorly so he wants to swap the parts over any suggestions would be helpful

I editted your post some since it had a WTB vibe.Must subscribe for that.Look for a beat truck,shoten a longbed right,convert a 2wd,junkyards,classifieds,keep an eye on the parts board,or subscribe and post a WTB.I bought my whole`71 SWB K/10 off this website.I watched for one a long time.
