WIW - Fresh 350/350 combo

My '71 has a fresh 350/350 drivetrain. I was going to give this to my Dad for his '62 Nova but he wants to keep his anemic stock 327 I have a 5.3 ready to go so I'm wondering what this is worth.

The engine was built a couple of years ago and has been run less than 1500 miles since. Unfortunately I don't have many details but the highlights are; pro-topline s/r torqer heads, fairly agressive but streetable cam, hydraulic lifters, roller rockers, bored .030, 9.5:1 compression, edelbrock intake, polished aluminum valve covers and oil pan. I have at least $3500 into the engine, I might be able to find a receipt but probably not. I realize most of that is useless without paperwork, so I'm hoping to attract a local buyer and take him for a little spin I think he/she will quickly get the picture on the engine. It really is a bad little engine, the builder put one together with the exact same specs at the same time for a '69 'vette that sold at a certain auto auction on TV for some big $

The TH350 transmission has less than 500 miles and was rebuilt with lots of new/improved hard parts. It has a stock-ish converter. I have a receipt for $1200.

I plan to sell it with everything but the carb. Would I be out of line asking $1500 for the combo or $1200 engine / $500 trans? What do you guys think?
