Educate me on dig dish hubcaps please
I'm running 70s era steel 5 lug pickup wheels, not rally type. I want to get a set of chrome dogdish hubcaps. I prefer something other than parts store baby moons.
I want this look, vintage if you know what I mean... What applications will work ? What diameter would the right ones be for half ton wheels ? Will car applications click onto these wheels ? Pictures...?...

Re: Educate me on dig dish hubcaps please
Any GM dog dish style hubcap from the era designed for 15 inch wheels will work. Probably F**d and D**ge too.
There are a lot of nice 'bowtie" caps from the late sixties and early 70's that look nice. Caprice, Camaro, Chevelle. I have a set of 67 biscayne caps on a 93 9c1 Caprice.

Re: Educate me on dig dish hubcaps please
Yep any 15" dog dish that snaps over the center of the wheel... The older ones snapped in the center of the wheel... I have bought a few sets on Ebay for a pretty good price..

Re: Educate me on dig dish hubcaps please
Those caps you show in the 1st post are exactly what I ran on my 1st truck,a shortbed`72 Highlander.

Re: Educate me on dig dish hubcaps please
late 60's big body GM sedan dogdishes are very nice. I believe the 67 Chevelle doggies are quite the hot ticket!

10 1/4" inside diameter. I also prefer the vintage look, seems everyone runs rallys. UPS just dropped these off yesterday...got 'em from "hubcapsalways" - ebay. A little over 6 bucks each, some clean up and fresh white paint on the rims, look great on the truck.

Re: Educate me on dig dish hubcaps please
Mine`s a GMC so I`m looking at late`50s-mid`60s pontiac,Olds,or Buick poverty caps.Car makers actually had it all standardized as opposed to basterdized these days,
