Going to side-exit pipes pretty soon though.

Re: Exhaust pictures

I haven't noticed any extra temperature rise on the transmission temp.
The floor boards do get a little warm but not worth mentioning.
During driving i don't get any warming up, only when i am standing still.

If it would become a problem then an alu heat shield solves the problem, i did that between the exhaust and the lpg tank.

How loud? I've been considering doing the same setup. Looking like we have the same 'mufflers' as well. I don't want any loud pipe tickets though.

Varrying by state, on classics as long as you have a muffler thing, the ticket is illegitimate. Glass packs are mufflers in TX. Shoot, I could probably run Race "Mufflers" and get away with it legally. But it still won't stop the neighbors from harassing you at any rate.

Re: Exhaust pictures

38chevyhotrod, what headers/manifolds are you using that allow the exhaust to be routed over the transmission cross member? Were there any issues with keeping it up there?
