headers for vortec heads

Hey anyone know if anyone makes headers for a 1976 3/4 4x4 with a stock location small block with vortec heads. Tore my headers off and found that the ports on the headers are round but the head ports are square. Maybe thats where the ping ping ping sound is coming from. Huummm.

Re: headers for vortec heads

Those headers will be fine so long as the header primaries are larger than the exhaust ports on the heads. Shape doesn't really matter, just get the same shape gasket as your primary shape. There is no vortec specific header.
