steering components?

i have a 65 short fleet and i just swapd the entire crossmember and front suspension from a 85 lwb for the disc brakes and better parts..

now my question is will the steering components from the 85 work on the 65??
im keeping manual steering on the 65 will it bolt in place with some hole drilling?

thanx
